Tuberous Breast Correction 1

This 24 year old female had constricted and tuberous breasts. There are a variety of terms used to describe the tubeous breast appearance, including tubular, snoopy breast, and constricted breast. Dr. Scott Sattler of Seattle Washington treated this patient using a cosmetic breast surgery technique that included breast augmentation with a silicone breast implant and mastopexy to reduce the diameter of the areola. A good cosmetic result after tuberous breast surgery relies on surgical principles that are unique to this particular type of breast anatomy. A standard breast augmentation procedure will not produce an acceptable result. Post operative result photos were taken about three months after surgery in our Seattle area plastic surgery clinic.
