Tumescent liposuction avoids the use of sedative anesthetic drugs and minimizes patient recovery time. Dr. Sattler uses long, thin tubes to selectively remove body fat through very small incisions. Anesthesia for Liposuction

Dr. Sattler is an expert in tumescent anesthesia, and prefers this technique for his liposuction patients. Numbing medication (tumescent solution) is always used during the procedure to enhance post-operative comfort. The technique does not require general anesthesia.

Recovery after Liposuction

Most of our patients return to work within 2-3 days. Patients wear a compressive garment for a few weeks post op which helps reduce bruising and swelling.
